A Pause In Writing

Today’s Writing Woman is undertaking a pause in writing. I never thought it would come to this, but my writing has reached a standstill. There is so much I want to write about, but I feel like I can’t freely speak my mind.

The world is so different from when I started this so long ago. I could write about whatever I wanted and not be ridiculed, shamed, or told I was wrong. I need to take a break.

I am saddened that it has come to this, but even more sad that I can’t speak and write about what is on my mind.

I don’t know how long I will be gone. Right now, I am focusing on other projects that bring me peace and joy while still expressing myself through creative endeavors. 

While this is not goodbye, it’s more of a see you later.
