Several years ago, I wrote this poem about my feelings about Mother’s Day. Since then, this day has been one of my most difficult days. In recent times, I have found resources to help me. There is a book written by Jody Day entitled Living the Life Unexpected. If you are childless, I would encourage you to read it. I am working my way through it right now.
In the meantime, Happy Non-Mother’s Day to all childless women, whether you choose to be or not. I found this article that I wanted to share with all of you. If you’re like me, childless, and Mother’s Day is the most painful day of the year, then you need to read this.
